Come join us for a crafty catch up at Pomona’s coolest cafe!
BYO project or bring along hook and some 8ply yarn to join in our #beaniesandblankets project for WishList – who will distribute our donations out to patients all over the Sunshine Coast. We are also working on Crochet Teddies to give to local emergency services to help kids feel better in emergency situations.

Beginner Crochet Workshop

This 3 hour workshop is for beginners who are interested in learning to crochet or crocheters who would like a refresher.
We will cover basic crochet stitches and provided a list of online support resources to help you on your crochet journey.
*Essential Basic Crochet Starter Pack provided in workshop fee (RRP $17.95).

Bees Wax Wraps

Take one step closer to living more sustainably and learn how to make your own beeswax food wraps using locally sourced beeswax straight from the Beekeeper.

  • You will be rapt with this low impact alternative to single-use, disposable plastics.
  • They are washable, freezeable and reusable – plus they look great.
  • They can be used to cover all kinds of food and keep it fresh.
  • You will be provided with fabric and beeswax to make two wraps to take home plus the skills to create more.

Intermediate Crochet Workshop

Do you know how to crochet but not how to read a pattern? 
This workshop will cover how to understand crochet symbols and how to read a diagram pattern, as well as covering common stitch abbreviations and how to understand a written pattern. 
Suitable for those who have some crocheting experience.
Workbook with written and diagram pattern will be provided. 
BYO 5mm Crochet hook (We will have some for sale at the workshop as well if you need one).
 

JULY DONATIONS

Thanks to the beautiful ladies who come to our July #craftycatchup I was honoured to drop our #beaniesandblankets donations off to Wishlist. at the Sunshine Coast University Hospital.

From your beautiful work we donated 20 beanies and one lap blanket to keep patients warm in hospitals around the Sunshine Coast! Great work ladies!
